Hi all,

I need some welding done to my bare shell, which currently resides in Canberra. Can anyone recommend a shop or individual in ACT / Queanbeyan that does a good job and preferably is familiar with Minis? Quality of the job is more important than how fast it gets done, although I would like to get it completed over summer.

The to-do list is roughly as follows:
Replace both front floors and rear driver side floor (I have the new panels)
Replace battery box (I have the new battery box)
Replace parcel shelf (I have the new shelf)
Fit rear seat belt mounting points to comply with NSW RTA standards
Fill in aerial mounting hole on front quarter panel
Fix up previous owner's dodgy spare wheel well repairs (lots of "pins")

Cheers for any help :)

Sorry i dont know a welder.

But if your car is before about 1971 you dont need rear belts, if its a clubby then you do.

But If its a roundy that doesnt have em i wouldnt bother

I know I don't legally require rear seat belts, but I would like rear seat belts

Parcel shelf is from a donor car, via ausmini. Nice people here :) My original parcel shelf is the same story as yours - speaker holes
