I swear my mini doesn't like me. It doesn't want me getting in to it. The drivers side door handle on the outside Broke the other day, leaving the door just about impossible to get in from the outside. Then the whole lock barrel on the passenger side fell out! Thinking it couldn’t get any worse the passenger side inside handle broke. So I fixed them all up with what little mechanical skills I have and everything was working again. Then eventually it all broke, again. My friends are worried about me because when it all broke again I just cracked up laughing, I was hysterical.
So I was wondering if anyone had ever brought all new handles and lock internals and how much did it cost?

I've never bought new locks and stuff, but I finally figured out the exacct way that the locks are meant to go and stuff. I locked myslef in the car once (yes you heard right). The passenger door didnt open from the inside at all. The driver's side, as I pulled the door, the whole mechanism snapped and fell apart. At the time, the window winder handle had cracked and only rotated around the pin instead of turning the pin as well. I ended up forcing the window down with the palms of my hands and opening the door from the outside.

If you are fixing the Clubby locks, you just have to be patient, and block off the bottom-inside section of the door. It SUCKS if you drop a nut down the very inside-bottom of the door... Anyone else done that!? I don't recommend it.
