Dan I believe you need a 13x6 for the Cooper Sport look. Having said that I've seen one with 10's that was lowered which looked awesome! |

Sportspacks are pretty fat, the best combos are either super wide offset 10s, or 13in wheels, 6 or 7in wide. Are you getting your guards trimmed, or just the arches fitted? |

I think you would need 13x6 as a minimum to fill out sport pack arches. The same size as the Rover factory fitted wheels. |

Thanks for the fast responses guys! I might look at getting 10" as someone suggested they will be better for my car being an automatic compared to the 12" and 13" The front arches were trimmed by the previous owner to fit 13" rims Where is the best place to get a set of 13" rims and wheels? Do i have to scrape out the inner arches in the car to fit 13"? |

My Auto has 13s and she loves it. Puts the speedo out of whack, but one day i will get it recalibrated. If its been cut previously, you shouldnt need to cut any more. Depending on whether your car has been lowered or not, you should have 100% clearance. |

Keeping in mind that 13x7s will almost certainly put the car way over 'legal' track. |

I really like my 13x7's but everytime I get in a mini with say 5'' or 6'' I realise how badly affected my handling is |

danny_ wrote: How much is your speedo? Not sure what you mean. If you are asking how much its out, its about 10km - 15km/h out under 80km/h and then a little more for faster speeds... although all my driving is city based so it doesnt really matter that much to me. The 13x7 definitely give the Mini an awesome fat stance and improve braking given on the road tyre print but I agree... handling always feels "loose" compared to a Mini with 10s or 12s. But not those cheesecutting 12x4 wheels like my car used to have.... Jesus they were skinny wheels. |

My speedo reads 10% over my actual speed. Tyres are 175/50/13s. |

Is it possible to get 1 inch spacers to put where the tyre bolts are so i can bring the rims out an extra inch or even half inch? I don't really want to upgrade rim size as i cant find 12" rims that are 6" wide in minilite. |

Mini-light style. Check here: Usually a lot cheaper buying from uk and posting over than buying domestically: http://www.minispares-online.co.uk/inde ... cat_id=177 brenton |
