ok so it may not be a MKII but does it look to be a 's' body ? it has the boot brackets .. holes in the boot lid , cant see up the front to see the heater brackets .. but all in all it looks to be a good looking shell ... could have been restamped after a crash the ruined the radiator shroud ... lets not forget these things are 40+ years old ... lots could have happenend in that time .. or its just another fake .. MK1's didn't have the YKG2S2 stamped into the radiator shroud, only M206 and a 4 digit number the M205 is very clear there - and the 5 digit number, it's just a deluxe with YKG2S2 poorly stamped on the radiator shroud |

I used to send them polite messages and in some cases rude messages, I don't bother any more. I do try to gather enough evidence to prove the truth and keep it for future reference. Look at this case, if he really does think it is an "S" what do you think he would say when one of us tells him the truth? He might not believe it. He might think we are trying to rip him off. |

Have you guys ever considered that he may not be a "know it all" regarding minis and what if numbers are recorded, they can disappear in a flash. Its the mini body thats for sale here and there appears to be no lack of interest in acquiring it. |
