OK so time has come to put "the project" into the nether regions of the garage.... At the moment its all in one piece and other than bad brakes and a dodgy fuel pump, does start and runs so I can drive it around, but I dont have the time to do it justice and finish it. Question: I've seen people get a pallet or similar and put heavy duty wheels on it and place shells only on it to move them around, but is there a similar idea for a whole car engine and all? Has anyone devised something that raises a car from the corners at the subframes? Pics or ideas appreciated. |

My garage has a parking area for two minis to the right where they sit side by side, and then this "L" shaped bit where a Mini fits sideways with 2mm front and rear. I cant drive a Mini into there sideways (best i can do is get it in at an angle), but with these dollies i can push it sideways it in there no problems. Brakes or no brakes, it will only have about 4mm to move in any direction. |
