| Post subject: | Flares - How to attach |
I have some Cooper S flares to attach I've welded the strips under the arch for them to clip onto - I also have the clips My question is, should I have anything between the body and the upright back of the flare? A light smear of sikaflex? Rubber perhaps? (most pictures i've seen don't have any rubber) How have people gone about attaching them so that the flare stays snug to the body? Cheers |

Did mine with sikaflex being careful not to over indulge in sikaflex to the point where it is seen. Makes for a nice neat job and no ugly gaps between the flare and the guard. i dont even like the clips on the plastic moulding as they show up as high spots everywhere you use them. I went the sika there as well. |
