The new wheel arch moulding appears a lot thicker than the original & substancely stiffer. Does anyone know of 'easy' way to fit this & keep it on beside putting ugly rivets everywhere Blue |

warm it up in the sun for the day on the roof of the mini. or a bucket of hot water & then when you go to fit it, you need to start with rolling it "Back-on-itself" over the wheel-arch so that when it comes to the reversed tight section just beside the wheel arch , then it is already shaped the right way to make the very much tighter corner if you get my drift? ![]() have fun ![]() ![]() |

Thanks Mat If I remember back that far I think it used to come rolled up 'the wrong way' so you could fit it around the tight parts, this new stuff is rolled to the wheel arch profile. Has'nt been hot enough in the sun yet Blue |

Fit it to a straight edge anywhere really. I had mine on the shed guttering for a while. Once it's straight it'll b easier to work with heat to get round the small angle. |

Yag! I hate the stuff. I pin it to the back of the garage door for a few weeks first. Sun heats it too once the door gets warm. ![]() |
