Thanks ausminis4u, do you know what the SU is? Is it a HIF44 or something like that? |

i bought my metro turbo engine complete with turbo and carb etc about 7 years ago for $1500 (very rare here at the time) now about the $1000 mark as Ausmini said. yes the carb is a specifi HIF44/6 carb special for turbo as it has orifice to pressureise the float chamber. |

Are you saying $1000 for the whole engine or just for the turbo setup on it?? |

I paid $500 for a complete manifold, turbo, carb and plenum about a year ago, but have since taken the carb and plenum and sold off the rest... As others have said, pretty hard to find a carb or plenum for less than $500 now..... Carbs are easer to find, the plenums are the rare beastie ![]() |

still expensive though http://freespace.virgin.net/richj.barnett/index2.htm Too expensive.....your better off making a custom manifold in my opinion. |
