I think the bang is probably the result of a hacker and i am sure the mods and others have worked hard (and on a holiday) to reconstruct the forum and repair the damage so we again have a mini forum. Hackers are malicious and a constant problem to anyone trying to run a server and or a forum. While some of us may get frustrated by the inconvenience of not having Ausmini for a period of time, do give thanks to the owners of the forum who pay money to keep it running for others to use and to those who also do the hard graft fixing the various problems. I'd much rather the Ausmini site up than lamebook I gave up on it ages ago cos was sick of peopels updates that they were at Maccas and then putting up pics of their meal to prove it! - wow, look at me look at me! |

Now I,ve had some feedback from some people saying that it just encourages people to bag Ausmini ( for whatever reason ) , thats not the case , it just provides a space to " kick the furniture " when Ausmini goes down or you can,t access the forum , and all posts are done under your real name , its also means people are less likely to post complaints on Ausmini when normal service resumes Hope you enjoy the New Year . |
