His Ebay profile shows he / they are buyers then sellers , I can only assume he bought it and is onselling it , nothing wrong with that but as I,ve said before , if someone is selling something that's " Not-Quite-Right " , you have a right as a consumer to question the validity of the article or article's for sale

I'm not right up with dates & specs, but isn't January '62 a little early for a 998 Cooper? I'd have thought it'd still be a 997 at that age.

According to Parnell the 998 Cooper came in late `64.
