Normally, It idles at 800rpm... but its sitting at about 450rpm. We put a timing chain in, and since then I presume I have to adjust the dizzy.. do I have to move it left or right? to get it back to the RPM speed. Or do I have to adjust points?? Its running rough, but it does start and run |

maybe u put the timing gears out a few deg, try to turn the dizzy clockwise if u think its out, but turn the idol screw up first or u might damage something |

if it was good where the distributor is now, then there's no reason anything would need to be changed in that department... turn the idle screws up and go for a drive - you might find it's well down on power, if that's the case, pull the motor out again and check the cam timing |

Yeah we marked it when we pulled the little cog off and fitted the chain. So going to adjust the distributor tommorrow. It runs just pops and carries on. |
