Hi, what size are the oil and temp senders as I got some gauges for Xmas and am not sure if they will be a straight swap. If not where is the best place to get an adaptor?
Cheers James

Oil sender hole is 1/8 BSP.
Temp sender hole in the head is 5/8-18 UNF.

If you get stuck on the temp adaptor I can make you a brass one, if you can tell me what the sender thread is (probably is 1/8 NPT these days).

Thanks Doc, I might have to take you up on that if I cannot source one locally. They are both 1/8 npt can I use the oil pressure without an adaptor?

The 1/8 NPT oil pressure sender will screw in a bit, it might be OK.
The 2 thread sizes are close, but no cigar.
NPT is slightly bigger than BSP- and it's 27TPI not 28.
Try it and see if it leaks- but if you want to make it right, send to me and I'll run a 1/8 BSP die down it.
