Post subject:  Midland Wheels.... changed website??

I was looking at the paper online today and prompted by the news that the Aussie dollar has hit a 27yr high against the british pound i decided to have another look at wheel and tyre sets from Midland.

Have they gone up in price or something because last time i looked the same wheels and tyres that are now $950 were about $800. Given that the Aussie dollar couldn't have been higher it must be a substantial price increase from Midland.

Also, i can't seem to find wheel and tyre sets on the site anymore. It seems to list only wheels and tyres separately. Perhaps that's part of the problem?

Have you considered that its not so much the aussie dollar going up, as it is the british pound going down, and therefor materials, labour, and any imported parts or out of country work involved in the production costs of the wheels is then higher, so the prices ave to go up to make a profit?

Go to the wheel you want and it will give you the option to purchase with tyre.
