Hi, I am chasing a pic on a floating mini raft..

Has anyone done one before??

is it a raft to support a mini or just a small raft?

we have a mini body shell, and 44 gallon drums fit the wheel wells perfectly
So we are going to cut the body and weld the drums...
Just hoping 4 drums fit
Its OK its only a Deluxe, not a Clubby!! :P :P

The idea should have been a complete car with motor but no rear subframe on a pontoon that v-shaped at the front , front rims with v paddles welded on ( like the water channel paddles ) , would need to be counter weighted at the back to compensate for the forward weight of the motor some heavy U channel across under the back might work , oversize rudder control could easily come up through the floor where the handbrake is ( the idea is ok in my head bit hard to explain ) using a small lathe wheel like this ( the one on the right ) then geared on a shaft to the rudder at the back

Image

tilt and trim control just eludes me for now , how much contact the spinning wheels have to provide efficient drive would depend on whether the hull displaces water or begins to plane

.

Yeah, we only have 1 day to build it, and paint it! so nothing elaborate, its going to involve 4 paddles so 4 person power

Is there something we need to know? Is this the end? Is there another great flood?

More important, what is the roof like above the back window and above the left hand B-pillar? (The inner rails)

That parcel shelf looks good too!
