hi all just a silly question, Where do most people mount there oil cooler and what sort? pics would be great.

Unless your going to race/ rally etc etc the car you dont,t need a 10 or 13 row oil cooler

Karkraft sell the 1/2inch BSP fitting kit with hoses

or as Dr Mini / Mr Green has said before make your own fittings , read his post here

contrary to what I posted in that thread about the thermostat , it would be much better to have it set up that the oil only only flows into the cooler once it reaches a certain temperature or it will clog very quickly , yes you can remove it and flush with kero but you don,t want to be doing it all the time

The GT had a special bracket that cooler bolted to and then bolted to the body.

But if its for a cluby, just get a couple bits of flat bar and drill some holes in it and bolt one end directly to the subframe and the other end to the cooler. Thats how i had it done in my leyland mini s
