Purchased a pair of K&N filters for my HS6 Carbs.
Problem is the bolt on the back of the filter that holds it all together hits the dash pot on the carb. This bolt is the one that takes a phillps head screwdriver. Hopefully you can see this on the photo.
Comes with a thick gasket but this is not enough.
Filter assembly is the K&N 56-9327, and the carbs are of an Austin 1800 (HS6).
And this is the filter that K&N list for the HS6.
Anyone else had this problem?
Any ideas?

I would probably make a spacer and open it out as a bit of a stub stack.

With the Filter you should have received a rubber spacer that goes between the filter and the inlet of the carb. 1 side will have a cutout which the crew/bolt sits into

They came with a thick cork gasket, about 3mm, which has the cutout for the bolt. The cork is not quite enough to keep the bolt of the carby. I will probably grind a mill or so off the bolt head for the clearance.
