Mmmmmm! My new SCCR Gbox for my MK II S.
3.9 4pin diff, central oil pick, blasted case. Wish I could have build it, but trusted it to Miniclassic. Thanks Grieg.

I Supplied all but a few parts from uk, Guessworks and min-its.
So it worked out not too bad. Did it in stages too, not all at once.
Straight cut drops and Quaife diff would have been nice but more $$$$!

And they look so good when the case has been blasted. I do all mine now, now that I have the big arse 3 phase air compressor

Don't think so, I prefer S ratios in a road car... particularly if it's a daily.
Besides, I wouldn't hear the CDs... :P
I'll probably either sell the gearset or put it in a box and sell the lot.

I had a set of straight cuts in my road going 1969 Cooper S back in the 70's, fantastic bit of equipment. One of the best mods I ever did at the time, I was a lot younger then, maybe today it might be a different story.

Just looking at the old receipt from 1970 it cost me $218.75 for the parts and $55 in labour for the box. And I got $50 trade in for my old S box.

First dibs! It would only be fitting to find their way into Barney.

My 4 synchro SCCR gearset is now sold pending payment.
It is going to be kept as spares for the same racecar it came out of, years ago. This car has changed hands twice since.
Talk about a small world..
