Thanks ausminis4u, do you know what the SU is? Is it a HIF44 or something like that?

i bought my metro turbo engine complete with turbo and carb etc about 7 years ago for $1500 (very rare here at the time) now about the $1000 mark as Ausmini said.

yes the carb is a specifi HIF44/6 carb special for turbo as it has orifice to pressureise the float chamber.

Are you saying $1000 for the whole engine or just for the turbo setup on it??

you could prob get a complete turbo setup (no engine) for $1000, prob 1500 to 2000 for the complete engine and turbo (needing rebuild for sure)

I paid $500 for a complete manifold, turbo, carb and plenum about a year ago, but have since taken the carb and plenum and sold off the rest...

As others have said, pretty hard to find a carb or plenum for less than $500 now.....

Carbs are easer to find, the plenums are the rare beastie 8)

Too expensive.....your better off making a custom manifold in my opinion.
