 Post subject: installing head lining

ok so is it an easy job to install the head lining i know you have to make sure the ribs dont get out of order but apart from that can it be a DIY job or should i pay someone to do it?

I'd never done one before, but I did mine all myself, its easy, but you need to take your time.
I did it over three days to ensure the glue was dry in each section before moving on.

Yes not that hard to do. Just take your time and I usually attach the front and back first and make sure the centre hoops are standing vertical. Then I do the sides and make sure you only lightly tack until all of the wrinkles are out before pressing firmly in place. The hardest areas are around the centre pillar and the front windscreen top corners. I used Contact spray which is available from Bunnings in the craft section and masked up the car body to prevent over spray . But the over spray can be removed with Turps.
