Out of curiousity....
HS type SUs have different angle float bowls depending on application, to make sure the float bowl is horizontal for a given manifold. Usually achieved by using different angle float bowl adaptors.
Do you need to give consideration to the mounting angle when using HIF-type carburettors? Or is this problem instrinsically solved by the integrated float bowl?
Would like to know given I have a couple of HIF4s lying round that were taken off an MGB.
