Well, it's no BMC doormat, but I am pretty impressed with my scrounging. ![]() ![]() If you don't recognise it, it probably won't be very interesting. It's the original fabricated extractors that came with the Cooper and S models. It must have been cheaper for BMC to press and weld these from flat sheet than from steel tube I guess. I haven't seen one of these lying around before, I thought they had all rusted away quietly into obscurity. Got it for a lazy fiddy on Ebay. |

Yeah, it really is as good as it looks too. Quite thick guage steel. I'm surprised how good it is. There's nothing up the inside of it at all, maybe like it's NOS or just very well cleaned. |

Looks NOS to me. Mine has the dreaded iron oxide layer inside and out, and one strategic patch. ![]() |

It doesnt look right to me, I mean it doesnt even have the BMC rossee, would have looked better if id did. Just doesn;t look original without a rosette. I'm sorry but I just don't like it all that much. --------------------------------------- Ok, Ok I'm just trying to be funny again this month. Nice find, where did you get it? Have no Cooper S's been delivered with the short 3into1s (the ones that dont go under the car)? |

Uhhh, let me think about this... No. But try again later, I may be in a more generous mood. It was right there on ebay, I was about to ignore it when I spotted the webbing between the header pipes and thought that was a bit odd. So I took another look. I think he pumped me for another tenner by the look of the bid history though... .http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... %3AIT&rd=1 |

![]() Doc...even though they look a bit cheap (pressed metal and all) I always thought they were reasonable efficient. I remember the huge power gain on my 998 ( ![]() ![]() ![]() How do they stack up against an LCB ![]() |
