I use 1, from the rocker cover to a Toyota PCV valve into the manifold, on both my 1360 and 1412 stroker. I had it on the flywheel housing instead, but the drop gears tossed oil up it on long LH bends if I had `a few' revs up. A well known Nc Mini racer we all know uses none. IMO you only need more than 1 decent breather if you have poor ring sealing. ![]() On my 1360 (now back in the car) I have since added a hose from the rocker cover to the drop gear housing- to help equalize pressure upstairs/downstairs. |

Been there done that. ![]() At 4500 rpm and above the crank and rods will tos HEAPS of oil up it. Don't bother. (MiniMania in USA sells a baffled one, it might work but it ain't cheap). |

one on the flywheel housing and one on the rocker cover... can see them here - two into one, then into a little inline PCV and into the inlet manifold |

On my 1360 (now back in the car) I have since added a hose from the rocker cover to the drop gear housing- to help equalize pressure upstairs/downstairs. Nice work on quoting your own post. That's awesome. |

I have a single breather, basically the same setup as the good Doctor's. Seems to work well enough. ![]() |
