Post subject:  front suspension probs

can anyone help me tried almost al day to remove front suspension to no avail could not remove tie rod ends from steering arm do you need a special tool to do these also upper and lower swivel joints is this also another special tool and also tie bar from from swivel joints are theses all brut strength or both tool and strength also removal of steering arm was a no go can someone give ume a clue . novice !!!!!!

You need a ball joint remover, some people use hammers but after you have used this tool you wont try with a hammer again.

that's the one to use - I bought the same one from supercheap and it works fine, but I'm sure it was less than half that price :?

I got one form Supercheap, undid one side Ok, tried the other side and broke the tool.
Back to the trusty hammer.

I had a Supercheap one and it worked great for me.
Lent it to a member on here who banjoed it first go :shock: :lol:

I think most of the auto shops sell these tools?
I got mine from Auto one and it's still going strong
But in the past I have had to cut and drill out a top ball joint which refused to let go
