Hi all

Can anybody point me in the right direction to get some parts to rebuild my rod change extension, hopefully to get rid of the slop in the gearchange.

I've already bought an aftermarket rod change yoke (22G2792), but it's very poor quality and consequently it's already broken. Does anybody know if genuine items are still available, or any better quality alternatives?

Also the front bush is quite worn - are replacements available? How hard are they to replace?

(that, and a new quickshift lever - which I adapted the length of the Moke shifter to).



Yes, the front bushes are available.
Jump on Mokesinc and do a quick search, a guy on there lists a part number for a generic bush which does the trick, and require press fitting to the housing.

I do wonder whether another option rather than buy another yoke is to get a new nylon ball made up for the bottom of the gear lever that is slightly bigger to take up the slack. My old yoke has about ~1mm of slack in it. Might look into that.

The problem is that they don't form the wear in a sphere.
It's an oblong shape, stretched to the front and rear (with minimal side wear).
So a larger ball would eliminate some of the issue, but to get rid of it completely, a new yoke is the only option.
