so a wayward toolbox sliding round in the boot appears to have sheared off the little metal clip that holds the electrical plug onto my rear indicator light on the rear drivers side! it can never just be a blown bulb eh? so, can I easily buy a replacement bulb holder with that clip intact or do I need to replace the whole rear indicator/brake light housing? and if so either way, any pointers or anyone willing to part with one please for the right hand side? taaaa |

Those bulb holders are swaged in, I tried to remove one once and gave up. I'd find another lamp unit, it's easier. ![]() |

If the lamp holder is still together inside but the spade lug has busted off, I'd try soldering it back on! If the old lug is buggered, cut a brass one off a spade terminal. |

I tried the solder option, but it is sheared off right to the plastic unfortunately I'm thinking my easiest option is to find a replacement thanks anyways and by the way, is it just me or everytime I go to reply I get logged out and have to re-log back in multiple times!?! |
