Ive always prefered minis with no flares which is easy with drum brakes. Now i have fitted discs and fitted jellybean mags the tyre now sticks out some 50mm past the guard ![]() The new tyres i think are 165/60/10 a008 which id like to keep. So whats the best combination to use to get the tyre back closer to the guard whilst keeping the discs. Im assuming at the rear i use the wider drums which i have a pair of. |

LS countesses or std Cooper rims are some that come to mind. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Those S rims are on drums so I'm not 100% sure if they do fit under the arches with discs, can someone confirm this... |

All of them will need stepped drums at the back. If you like ugly wheels, you could also use Clubman S or GT steelies ![]() |

This question is coming up a bit lately. No flares seems to be the new black. |

love the look of that moke ![]() I feel with that much camber,A008s and rain there would be almost zero front end grip something id also like to avoid. With the cheap wheel and tyre imports i will look into some new minilites. |

I think there's another thread somewhere but 4.5" Minilites "S" offset with 008s will fit over S brakes without flairs. And they don't need the grinding/spacers required with factory ROHs (LS etc). Cheers, Ian |
