ahoy everyone, just wanted to double check if the seals/channels that the glass slides along and stops into on the upper and rear vertical part of the door frame of the sliding window part of my door (as pointed out in the bellow pic) are these seals from minisport http://www.minisport.com.au/prod1233.htm or is the vertical bit something else. Right now, mine is just a piece of felted rubber that the previous owner has just squished in there that doesnt conform to the top to rear vertical curve and looks crap. I want to put the right stuff in there.

Unfortunately the "real" stuff is NLA - or at least VERY hard to find. You can still buy the proper "lower" channel - runs along the top of the door panel front to back. But I have not been able to find a proper upper section (up the front, across the top and down the back of the glass) for years. The original material comprised steel channels lined with fabric/rubber. The material pictured is a rubber strip that shrinks with heat and age. When you install it, start at one end and push it back on itself as you stuff it in the groove - try as much as possible to ensure there is no tension in the rubber strip. That will at least give it the longest life possible. Cheers, Ian
