Would there be much intrest in another mini/bmc swap meet organised in Sydney, somewhere in South West Sydney, round late June/early July.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

I would certainly attend to buy, maybe even sell off a few things.

As long as it's not the long weekend I'd be super keen for it, got nothing to sell but would love to shop.

Gina and I are already running the Rylstone swap meet (with the cooperation of other local car club members) on the 20th of may. The advertising and infrastructure is already in place. It attracts a thousand buyers and a little over 200 sellers. There is catering and other needs already in place.

Its no harder to include a BMC section and spread the word amongst the min fraternity. The saturday night (19th may) is always a very social time.

The costs are $8 a stand for sellers and $2 per person. People with "interesting" cars are given free admission ($8 selling fees still apply) provided those "interesting" car owner are prepared to park their cars in a display area.

It could achieve the same result with minimal effort and cost on your part.

Mike

No chance of that, a few mini people already have a thing on the June long weekend.
