i know this q has prob been asked before but has anyone in the melbourne area know a good place to take my mini to have new panels replaced as i am not any good at welding i know it may be expensive but not upto having a go as dont want to mess it up..........newbie |

If you know the question has been asked before then why not search for the answer ie mini friendly body shops in melbourne. Search button at the top. At least you have a reply now. |

maybe the 66 people that have seen it are not from Melbourne. Like myself. Maybe ring and ask a place like Link automotive (mini orientated business) - if they do it? or if they know of someone who does? Goodluck |

Don't know if still in business try A grade panels they used to sell panels and do resto's |

Which panels? Some are not exactly structural and a good project for learning how to weld. Once you get a MIG dialed in for the thin steel, it's actually easy. I reckon Minis should have a MIG welder in the standard toolkit, alongside the wheel brace and jack... |
