i know this q has prob been asked before but has anyone in the melbourne area know a good place to take my mini to have new panels replaced as i am not any good at welding i know it may be expensive but not upto having a go as dont want to mess it up..........newbie

maybe the 66 people that have seen it are not from Melbourne. Like myself.

Maybe ring and ask a place like Link automotive (mini orientated business) - if they do it? or if they know of someone who does?

Don't know if still in business try A grade panels they used to sell panels and do resto's

Which panels? Some are not exactly structural and a good project for learning how to weld. Once you get a MIG dialed in for the thin steel, it's actually easy. I reckon Minis should have a MIG welder in the standard toolkit, alongside the wheel brace and jack...
