Hey guys, i recently just had my 1100 dyno tuned the other day, it got 33.6hp i was just wondering if this is what i should be expecting from it? It was orignially a 998cc but this is what is fitted: Bored to 1134cc 1100 crank 1100 head (shaved) slighty worked double valve springs stage 2 cam LCB extractors pulsar distributor 32mm dellorto ![]() |

33.6HP sounds a bit low to me, Spiro the Moke (1152cc, RE13 cam, 295 head, and a 40 Dellorto) made 47HP at the ausmini dyno day a few years ago, and it was tired. However, it was on a Dyno Dynamics dyno; chassis dynos do vary a lot, they can't really be compared with each other reliably. |

I agree, my 1100 van had 44hp when new. 202 worked head, 266 cam, extractors and 1 1/2" SU. |

nup, getting your existing setup to perform properly will be a lot cheaper, the should be another 10-12 bhp lurking in there somewhere |

Same with tyre pressures. |

Just had mine dyno'd, first tune since the new rebuild. 43.2HP 1098 +40 standard reconditioned head (head and deck shaved) 45 webber (choked down to 40) 3 into 1 extractors and rc40 exhaust standard distributor and points mild cam grind I also noticed that mine was run in 3rd gear and reached 43.2 @ 100K's |

Yea that is a bit low. Check your tire pressures and it also looks like it was taken in 4th gear - most runs are done in 3rd for a mini so that might make some difference? |

When my van was an 1100 , it made 48 bhP ATW on that same (John collins) Dyno. Unknown cam, 295 head lcb, 40 mm web. Then went to a 1360 with standard head 266 cam 45 mm weber- 60atw Now 1360 Same cam 7 port head 2x 40 mm del - 90atw. John is very good at what he does. |

Hi Jaz I think before you go to the big step of changing to a 1275, I would recommend the head be modified first by a reputable head modifying person and then Dyno again It is amazing how much difference a good head can influence power output in a mini Next option would be the camshaft as you are unsure on its specs? |
