Greetings all,

Just looking for a bit of advice. Currently I have what I believe to be a fairly standard 998, with the addition of a single 1-3/4 SU carb and extractors. I've always liked the look of the twin SU set-up and was wondering what advantages/disadvantages there were if I was to change to say a twin 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 carb system.

I know they are harder to tune to get the balance right, but I was wondering what other people had experienced with them. I not necessarily looking for massive power, just looking for the best setup for my engine.

Cheers
Simo

Twin 1-1/4s go fine on a near stock 998, twin 1-1/2s are a little big.
Twins tend to give better torque and throttle response than a big single, I find. And, they look `right'
