It's not bad, if you've already got a good idea about what you're doing. If nothing else its a useful reference book to add to the collection. Bear in mind that the text relates to the pommy minis rather than Aus ones.

Got mine from a 2nd hand bookshop for $20 a couple of years back.

It's a crap book I reckon... lots of pics, not alot of detail. It's like browsing through a car restoration rather than going into detail on how to do it. Plus it's all about UK minis.

It's like this: "Here is a picture of us removing the engine" "and here is a picture of us taking out the gearbox" :?

Save money, I think a subscription of UK Practical Classics will be much more worth it... honestly

It's worth a read, but maybe not buy. The Haynes "Mini Performance Manual" is better, as it lists loads of handy information, mainly about motors but also brakes, chassis etc. It's also quite a new release so the info is by now quite proven.
