Yeah like the others, I was going to say there is a fair chance you have both!
Tie rods are different to pot joints or Hardy Spicers etc
Easiest way to tell re pot joints is to look at the output shafts out of the gearbox and if the rubber boot from the drive shaft is cable tied/wire tied/or has an original retaning band attached to a tube about 10cm long which goes into the gearbox, then more than likely you have pot joints, for Hardy spicers someone else can take on that description.
