Hi all! the speedo in my mini has not worked at all since I bought it 2 years ago. This hasnt been much of a problem (i could judge 60kph from the tacho), untill I got a speeding fine the other week  . I wasnt sure how many revs i was supposed to be doing to be going 50 haha.
everything else (fuel gauge, HB light and night time light) works on it however. Is it just a case of replacing the speedo cable to get it working again? |

OK, remove the speedo, and take it for a drive, if you see the center moving, that means your speedo is stuffed. if its not, it could be the cable stuffed, or the pinion in the gearbox is stuffed |
