No (as far as I know), I had a look at it when the previous owner had it for sale. The previous owner told me he had restored it.

wholly crap, that is my old car. i could almost cry. That car was the best resto I have ever done and look at it. Crap engine bay, the bonnet colour doesnt even match. The previous owner put cop70 plates on it when it was still down here and it went up to Rocky. the new owner in Rocky was going to do some track work in it and has only had it for about 6 years. When he acquired it for $19k it was still in concourse condition. Sorry steve he did lie to you, apparently told everyone he had restored it, but didnt actually do a damn thing.Even tried to tell Dwayne Sayers that he restored it when it went for a service once. You can imagine that conversation went well.

Greg,
You have to admit that if you where on the top of your game when you did the resto you would have Fitted those 12" ALLOYS, Blue HT Leads, GT40 COIL and that Fuel filter Instead of all that Original Rubbish You Used

You know what to use on Paddy now at least :? :?

Dave

Wow. Not quite the same as when I last saw it.

In 1994/95, following resto by Greg, the car won Car of the Show at RACQs big annual show and shine with about 400 cars covering all marques. Was an absolutely outstanding example with strong emphasis on originalty.

The guy who bought it from Greg kept it in cotton wool such that it was still in excellent condition when he sold it in about 2006.

At the end of the day, people have different views on what they want to get out of a car and you have to respect their wishes. If they want to use it as a daily driver and the car deteriorates as a consequence, then so be it. The value of the car just deteriorates along with it.

Hopefully someone takes the time to get it back to its former glory, even if it needs a full strip down as appears to be the case. Could cost a few dollars to do so.
