Fitting an EFI fuel tank to the Min.
Does anyone have a picture of the pipes in the boot? I want to see how they are run down the side of the tank and especially where they pass through the boot floor?

Thanks...

My apologies for the dodgy photos, but it's not something commonly of interest.

The rover setup has the fuel lines poke up through the floor and go about 6-8 inches before the hoses go the rest of the way to the tank.

When I did my car I decided this was too hard and kind of pointless to replicate, so my hoses just go through the floor and connect to the tubes under the car. Makes it a bit easier to get at and change the filter if I need to aswell.

Thanks Harley,

I will do the same with running the rubber pipes through the floor. Do these pipes run up the side of the tank or between the tank and seat back?

I have 2 "H" brackets welded to the side, I am assuming these are clipping points for the pipes?

Depends what year the body is, but they probably are.
The hoses are behind the tank (against the seat back). You can't see them unless your head is in the boot.
I didn't use the metal clips to hold the hoses, so just cable tied them together.

Has any one got a picture of how the pipes run down the side of the tank? I think there is a plastic cover that clips to the H brackets but I cannot find any clear images.

As shown in the pic above, there are three hard lines flipped to the rear of the back seat with that big white clip. One from the orange ringed tank outlet to the filter, another is the breather and the last is the return line. There is just one clip on the back of the tank so I think there is no other mount. I do think there is a plastic cover that maybe attaches to that mount you can see at the bottom rear of the tank.

Thanks Mokesta. Think I got the idea now! Thinking I will run hard pipes down the back and maybe through the floor too!
