well it really depends on what you want engineered, and if you know someone that can do it. but the going rate tends to be around the 300-500 mark from all reports. i am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong. Cheers Aaron |

Cheers Aaron After speaking to a very nice technical advisor at the RTA last week - he told me all I need to do to get my LHD Moke on historic rego is get an engineers cert for the LHD conversion. That and a Blue slip, then rego should be OK. As long as the Club registrar approves it. Julie............ |

Depending on who you talk to, some "modifications" like replacing drums with discs....so long as it just a straight parts swap...can be done by the owner. Some states are terribly pedantic...others, well, almost anything goes... |

The engineer for my Starlet conversion is charging me $800 all up. But as you can tell this ain't a straight swap so I expected a fair wad. While I have youse, I gather I should get a list together of the things that need engineering so that he can incorporated them in the engineering certificate? |
