As the title says, what thermostat do you run? Mine's currently 82 deg, but want to know what's best round here so I can change it while it's all apart if need be. |

74C + Nulon Ultra Cool mixed with distilled water + Redline Water Wetter. |

82C. It runs cool enough in summer and keeps my tootsies warmer in winter than the 74C one did. ![]() Coolant = 25% Nulon ethylenene glycol concentrate + 75% H2O. |

I think 82 is the most common and probably considered the "standard" fitment. I would stick with that as a good starting point. Before you refit it it would be worth testing it. Even new ones can be faulty. Pop it in a pot of water on the stove and check it opens at the right temp and that it opens fully. A good temp gauge for this is one of those you use when frothing milk. |

Hate it when I forget to do things like this ![]() Cant wait for summer to come round test the new rad, Have the aux setup ready by then if needed. Remember overheating following doc around on one of the runs. |
