hi all just wondering how the centre mount rc40 ataches to the rear k frame. pics would be great cheers

I assume you mean a centre exit muffler?
Measure and find the centre of the subframe,at the back of the car.
Then measure the distance betwen the two mounting holes and transfer that measurement to the subframe, bearing in mind to centre this measurement.
Then drill holes at these two points so you can fit two cotton reel rubber mounts.
Bolt in the mounts and then mount your muffler. The front of the muffler I used a normal Cooper S type bracket and straightened the twist out.

There are usually two holes that will allow you to fit a cooper s rear exhaust mount in the middle (these are cheap and pretty).

Personally i'd rather a huffin' big block of wood with an 8" surface area than a jack stand with a 6" and 2" surface area on the other end

Nothing wrong with using rounds of wood as axel stands, but best to mount it from the subframes. I spent a long time trying to bash the floorpan back into shape from where it was previously jacked up.

It's on the corner though, where lots of panels meet and is quite a strong area, as opposed to the middle of the floor where everyone has jackinthewrongspot dents.

And I don't believe there were subframes in it at the time no

Correct, it's where you put them that makes the difference. No squashed floors here!

Gotta say, the paint finish is billiant. Is that two pack?

Carefull with those tree stumps. Their only good for about 70 tons each!

Yeah, two pack on the outside and Raptor ute bedliner on the underside. (There is a rebuild thread in the members gallery)
