I've seen these sets advertised as "to suit A+" and also as "suit any gearbox". What's the go? ![]() |

A+ gearbox gears are cut at a different helical angle, so you can't mix pre & post gears. Cheers Shane |

Cheers Shane This is correct however you can run A+ diff gears in any gearbox. Some may need a little clearance work around the pinon but is not that hard. Cheers Pete |

I am running a 3.1 a+ in my non Aplus box. You have to machine the 3rd motion shaft retainer a little to get clearance for the pinion. You will also need less diff shims as the crown wheel is slightly wider. Cheers Kiwiinwgtn |

Ya I knew the gear sets were different teeth but knew there must be a reason major parts suppliers list them as 'all boxes'. Thanks for the info. |

I'm going the other way - A series NOS 3.93 gearset into an A+ box. So I will need extra shims I guess. |
