Post subject:  Mini assistance required Brisbane east
Picked up a car today. I simply cannot get it to run.

spark seen ok.
seems to be getting fuel.
Compression is a but low at 100 on all four.

I drive it onto the trailer this morning but it felt way down on power.

It's has fired and run a couple of times since but doesn't run for long a is slow to rev.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, wife is hassling me for buying a dud!

Get new fuel and drain the old stuff which is probably full of water. Spray carby cleaner into fuel system to release gummed needle valve in float chamber.

Sorted. Had A fella swing buy today. Worked his magic and got it running pretty quick!

It was points, timing, spark, flooding related.
