ok guys bought this 850 mini for parts had a look underneath it had the strangest exhuast system on it straight through pipe with this small red bulbus shaped muffler on which i think its called a cherry bomb there was no engine with the car as i bought it for parts will this exhuast be ok to put on an 850 engine as i read they give of a great tone ... or will performance of said engine be affected noob exhuast in great con!!!! ( is it even legal anymore in oz )

How big is the pipe? You don't want to have anything too big, and with an 850, just about anything would be too big I reckon.

A 998 runs great with a 1 3/4" pipe, much more and you'll start losing power. If this is a straight-through 2" it'll work, but not the most efficiently.

But hey, you'll never get great power out of a 850, but you'll want as much as you can, right?
