I've taken the car for a roadworthy and spied it up on the hoist.

If he fails the rear subframe due do a rust hole in it can I use a dry frame and swap the parts over.

Even if it's a late one with the holes for the hoses, it won't have the bayonet lugs to hold the bags in the frame..
Why not weld the old frame up?

Must be a heap of rear hydro frames up in Brisvegas, ask Matt Read...
My mate has a few here but freight ^ might cost a bit.

yeah i have a few of em if you`re stuck john

& if your rwc guy is unimpressed with a weld on a mini subframe then he`s a dork

grind out the rust hole so it`s not rusty anymore & just leave it as a hole, make it nice 7 round like it`s meant to be there

there are some pretty stoopid/dumb/ignorant rwc inspectors around,,, some think their sh!t doesn`t stink,,, nearly all of em think they own the power to crush you & your car

they`re all mostly full of sh!t... find another guy to do the check for you
