just seen these on uk evilbay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Mini- ... 039wt_1172 are copper lines legal in Aust? and or safe/recommended? our cars all had steel lines yeah? just asking as I need to remake the front brake pipes - mainly the one that goes left/right under the grill... any tips on where to buy all the little unions, a good bender and flaring tools from? cheers |

Nope, not legal in Oz.. Any decent local brake place will have all the fittings you need. |

You can get cupro nickel brake pipes here, they are legal, don't rust and don't fatigue like copper does. |

Thanks Graham, that type of tube looks the go.. do i need special bending equipment or does it form by hand ok? also does that tube take a double flare? (Do i need a double flare? seems to be the go from a brief bit of looking around? |
