I took the 850 for a run yesterday, all went well. This morning went out again and it has developed a very loud noise. When travelling at 50 mph it starts and gets progressively worse up to 55mph,it then settles down to very light, can just hear it . It sounds like a high pitched rattle and seems to be coming through the gear lever. I have been under the car and tightened up everything I could find, hoping something was loose. No change. I cant continue to drive at 60 to 70 mph I dont think she will take the pressure!! . I hesitate to ask the question, but, any suggestions.

there is a slight gear-whine in all gears, although at 55mph nothing else can be heard in the car it is so loud. I just checked and the noise seems to be related to high revs, at 40mph in third it starts .
