HI does anyone know if a morris 1100 is easy to convert to dry suspension is it just a case of removing the bags and fitting the cone etc? |

Morris 1100 Hydro bags are not the same as mini hydro bags (they are much bigger) so this will mean that you would have to do something pretty different to convert a wet subframe to a dry one. 1100s never had dry subframes AFAIK. My guess is it wouldn't be easy ![]() |

OK Grant, what are you up to now.... ![]() <edit> why would anyone want to convert from the superior hydrolastic suspension, floating on fluid... ![]() It works for me, handles better than our dry car! ![]() |

More room as a result of having bigger displacers might mean it is easier to convert them to coil springs I was only thinking of rubber cones ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Why would you? Is it for the track? Or for the road? I have seen an 1100 with coils. ![]() I would just go with hydro and add front shocks. |

Hydro and front shocks end up a pretty stiff combo, but a nice compromise. |
