When I finally got the go ahead from the wife for my last (dream) mini. I briefly thought about an engine converted mini. But she says sooo in 5 years are you going to be happy with that? And I think erm... no. So then I start thinking cooper S mk 2 matching numbers, and she says... I know you, there's no way you would be happy with a standard cooper S, are you sure you want to butcher one?
"God No" was my answer as they represent an authentic slice of motor racing history.
Then I saw my old van today and it struck me TRAVELLER! But as soon as I thought it I couldn't help but have my heart sink, buying a resto'd body traveller would be even harder than looking for matching numbers Mk2 S
As a last resort I'll look for an S with a mismatched engine, but damn it why do I always have to want the hard to find items /sigh

I saw Aaron had one for sale, but was a while ago so assuming its gone. If anyone knows him and he still has it, feel free to pass my number on please
