Hi everyone,

I'm heading down to Sydney next month and my plan is to check out some mini shops while I'm there. Anyone have any suggestions on which ones I should go to? It would be great to catch up with some of the mini owners while I'm down there too.

Cheers

Simo

Mini King in Narellan is good for 2nd hand parts and John is a top bloke.

There is also Karkraft who sell new parts for minis.

If you are here long enough next month, why not come on a run or 2 with the sydney mini crew.

The 2012 Rylstone Classic is happening next month and that is a weekend event.

We also have SWOM runs (second Wednesday of the month)
I am not sure where its planned for this month as they have not posted up on the forum...

Hope that helps.

The mini shops are not very exciting when you find them and walk in the door
Mini Car Clinic used to have a good front area display, MiniKing has some parts out front to look at but Karcraft is just a wholesale warehouse.
Not sure on the status of any other Sydney Mini shops, someone else may know?
The only mini shop that has a good display of product is Minisport UK, followed by Minispares and Somerford but that's a whole different story

There aren't many other Sydney shops that have a good display.
Mini & Moke World at Brookvale had a fair bit of stuff but I've not been there for some years.
Heritage MG at Smithfield (they have Mini stuff too) is just a warehouse & a front counter, nothing on display at all.
