Post subject:  New Exhaust

Hi,

I've got a 1990 Rover Cooper 1275 w/Carb, need to know what's best for getting an exhaust, Is it the same as an Aussie one? (and therefore any old exhaust place will be able to replace)

Sounds like my exhaust has a hole somewhere. may just be something coming loose, but it sounds a lit like a small hole, only really hear it when car is under load.

I've just realised that this is quite possibly the longest I've ever owned a car without having to replace an exhaust (having come from UK 7 years ago) this one was put on the car for it's UK MoT before departing for Australia, so it's had a good run in my mind.

Any thoughts, also any idea about costs....?

Try Karcraft?
I'm guessing your car has a cat fitted?
So not sure if replacement exhausts are off the shelf?

If it's carby dose it need a cat? I know a car of that age will have tougher emissions that a mid 60's mini but I think only EFI cars need cats.
